Paloma graduated from Boston University with a degree in Behavioral Health Sciences and a minor a Public Health. Through college, a spark to study pediatric therapies was ignited – at the time, specifically occupational therapy. With plans to get her master’s in occupational therapy, she moved from Boston, Massachusetts to Houston, Texas to gain more experience in the medical field. This led her to work at a large national Pediatric Therapy company on the administrative side, while volunteering in clinic with kids. After working there for two years, she moved to Austin, Texas with her boyfriend and started her career in Ophthalmology. For five years, she worked as an Ophthalmic Technician and Surgery Technician at one of the best Ophthalmic Surgical Centers in Austin, until she found her calling closer to home in Georgetown, Texas. Bridging the gap between occupational therapy and optometry/ophthalmology, she found her place working at the Vision Therapy Center of Georgetown. For over a year now, Paloma has been managing the Vision Therapy Center while also administering vision therapy sessions, helping adults and children alike, resolve their vision issues and improve their quality of life.
